This role will be responsible for authoring and maintaining payment policies and SOPs, identifying and mitigating risks related to inaccurate or inconsistent adjudication decisions, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. This role reports to the Director of Payments and plays a critical role in supporting scalable, compliant, and high-quality payment operations while protecting member experience and financial integrity at Maven. As a Manager, Payments Program Governance at Maven, you will: - Own the end-to-end program governance framework for Maven’s payment products, ensuring policies and standards drive accurate, consistent, and compliant adjudication decisions. - Author, maintain, and socialize payment-related policies, operating standards, and SOPs, ensuring documentation is clear, audit-ready, and scalable. - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to adjudication accuracy, consistency, and compliance, and system change partnering with Operations and QA to address root causes. - Partner strategically with Product, Operations, QA, Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to embed governance considerations into decision-making and execution. - Act as an escalation point and subject matter expert for complex adjudication or policy interpretation issues. - Track and report on key governance and risk metrics, driving continuous improvement across payment programs. - Manage and develop team members in the near term, building scalable ways of working to suppo
