Our Mission As humans, there are few things more exciting than meeting someone new. At Tinder, we’re inspired by the challenge of keeping the magic of human connection alive. With tens of millions of users, hundreds of millions of downloads, 2+ billion swipes per day, 20+ million matches per day, and a presence in 190+ countries, our reach is expansive—and rapidly growing. We work together to solve complex problems. Behind the simplicity of every match, we think deeply about human relationships, behavioral science, network economics, AI and ML, online and real-world safety, cultural nuances, loneliness, love, sex, and more. Our Values Take the Lead: We don't ghost our work or each other. Just as users don't leave their matches hanging, we don't let each other down. Move Fast: We have a bias for action and urgency. Something that could be done tomorrow would be better if done today. Better Together: We keep connection at the heart of dating and at the heart of how we work. Just as our users are better when they connect with others, so are we when we collaborate. Real Talk: We say the hard thing the human way. Just as we ask our users to behave with kindness and candor in our community, we expect Team Tinder to do the same. Safety First: We act with integrity, transparency, and consistency so people feel safe—whether they're swiping, matching, or working alongside us. Spark Fun: We have fun to unlock creativity, fuel innovation, and help us build better experiences for daters. The Role At Tinder, our Recs, Revenue, and Engagement teams play a mission-critical role in shaping the core user experience by helping people "spark something new with someone new" through personalized recommendations, bringing users back at the right moment, and making sure they succeed once they're here. As Senior TPM, you will drive high-impact, cross-functional programs across these three teams while keeping each team's day-to-day operations running smoothly. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics, along with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Localization, to bring structure to rapidly evolving plans and priorities, resolve dependencies before they become blockers, and deliver incredible user experiences at global scale. Where You'll Work This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA or Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will: Own end-to-end delivery for high-impact programs across Recs, Revenue, and Engagement from planning through launch, including the ongoing development of recommendation infrastructure and models for Recs; subscription, payments, and ads programs for Revenue; and lifecycle messaging and the CRM platform for Engagement. Act as the connective tissue between Recs, Revenue, and Engagement and other product teams in the organization, tracking milestones, surfacing cross-team dependencies, driving alignment on ownership and sequencing, and mitigating risk across mobile, backend, ML, and web engineering teams. Proactively identify and resolve issues by coordinating with teams to determine solutions and prioritize tasks; collaborate with teams as needed to improve existing processes while maintaining a high bar for both quality and velocity. Provide clear, timely communications to executive and senior leadership on program health, including mission reports, status updates, and escalations that come with a recommended path forward, not just a status. You'll need: 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management for consumer mobile products at scale, preferably supporting recommendations, ranking, or personalization; monetization (subscriptions, payments, or ads); or growth and lifecycle messaging. Proven ability to run a portfolio of concurrent programs across multiple teams, building delivery plans, dependency maps, release plans, and risk registers that stay current as priorities shift. Demonstrated success in partnering with PMs, engineering leads, and senior leadership, cultivating strong cross-functional relationships and influencing outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. AI fluency, with hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to automate routine program management work like status reporting, documentation, and dependency tracking, and to accelerate cross-functional communication. Expert-level proficiency in Jira and Jira Product Discovery, including configuring views, fields, and workflows, plus Confluence, Google Suite, and Figma. Expertise in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of PDLC and SDLC best practices. Nice to have: Experience with subscription billing and payments, including Apple in-app purchase, Google Play Billing, web checkout, or alternative payment programs in regulated markets. Working knowledge of the ML project lifecycle, from feature and data readiness through offline training and evaluation to online experimentation and rollout, and how planning for model work differs from planning for feature work. Experience with programmatic ads, including ad placements, mediation, or SDK integrations on iOS and Android. Familiarity with lifecycle and CRM messaging platforms (push, SMS, email) and the opt-in and regional compliance requirements that come with them.

In this role, you will: Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for a core abuse area including explicit choices about what we will and will not pursue. Make principled calls on the tradeoffs this domain forces, from precision versus recall to automated action versus human review, and set guardrails that keep those calls consistent. Partner closely with Anti-Abuse Analysts to uncover evolving bad actor tactics and translate them into durable product defenses. Drive execution and alignment across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Policy, Legal, and Trust & Safety Operations, turning community guidelines into scalable, enforceable systems. Define the measurement foundation for your area, including prevalence, exposure, repeat offending, false positives, and appeal outcomes, and how we evaluate impact where clean experiments are not possible. Apply AI and ML where they create real leverage in detection, classification, and review, with a clear view of what makes each bet worth pursuing. Be the authoritative product voice on anti-abuse at Tinder: communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and impact to senior leadership, and drive executive-level alignment on high-stakes enforcement decisions, including when the answer is unpopular with Growth. Hold the quality bar for shipped enforcement experiences: stay hands-on with the product and fix root causes rather than individual bugs. What You Bring: A track record of sustained, material outcomes across multiple related initiatives in Trust & Safety, fraud, abuse prevention, content moderation, or risk. Systems thinking across the full abuse lifecycle, with the judgment to know when a problem calls for better detection, a different intervention, or a change to the experience itself. Strong product intuition for remediation and enforcement experiences that are effective, fair, and intelligible to the people on the receiving end, holding that under-enforcement is a fairness failure as much as over-enforcement. Demonstrated ability to operate in highly ambiguous, adversarial environments and deliver resilient, scalable solutions. Analytical rigor, including comfort reasoning from imperfect data and holding a credible line on what the evidence does and does not support. You'll need: Minimum of 8+ years of product management or other relevant experience building and scaling products or systems. Ability to set direction and drive execution on large, cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch and iteration. Strong communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders. Fluency with ML-based detection systems. Comfortable discussing precision, recall, model thresholds, and data pipelines with engineers. Working knowledge of the online safety regulatory environment, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into product decisions rather than handing them to Legal. Hands-on with data. Writes their own SQL and interrogates prevalence and precision numbers rather than accepting a dashboard. Fluency applying AI tools in product work, with clear judgment about where they add leverage and where they don't. Conviction to advocate for user safety and platform integrity. Nice to have: Experience with age assurance, identity verification, or biometric signals in a consumer product. Experience with adversarial ML, including evasion, model drift, or detection of AI-generated content. Experience in consumer social or dating platform.
