AI Product Engineer
Know where you belong! Match Group is a leading provider of dating products across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Hinge, Match, Meetic, PlentyOfFish, OkCupid, The League, HER, and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our products - it’s the foundation of every team we hire. When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL 3 days/week. We are seeking a talented and motivated early-career software engineer to join the Match Group Core in a brand new role enabling greater productivity in non-technical teams through bespoke software and workflow solutions. Match Group Core is the central services division for Match Group, providing shared services and data solutions for all brands under the Match Group portfolio, including Tinder, Hinge, Match.com, POF, OKC, and many others. Additionally, Match Group Core is a technical service provider for many internal central and corporate teams, such as HR, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Privacy, Marketing, IT, and Security. With a special focus on internal product development and workflow enablement, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining internal products and workflow solutions (HR/People-focused) that benefit employees across the organisation. Most crucially, you will be enabled with extensive agentic tooling to achieve your goals, and in turn, you will be expected to impart your expertise on your stakeholders, and enable them with AI to achieve their own goals. This role is a paid, fixed-term 4-6 month internship, with an opportunity that this role can be converted into a full-time permanent position at the conclusion. This is also a hybrid role, and requires in-office collaboration three times per week. In this role, you will: In this role, you will: Partner directly with corporate teams (primarily HR) to understand their problems and ship working internal tools quickly: dashboards, portals, small web apps, reports, and integrations. Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc) as your primary means of building, while applying engineering judgement to what those tools produce. Administer, optimize, and expand a multi-tenanted Databricks platform to meet evolving analytics and business intelligence requirements. Teach and coach non-technical stakeholders to build and maintain their own AI-assisted workflows and tools, which may include running informal group sessions and pairing sessions, or producing guidance, templates, or sufficient guardrails that they can leverage or re-use. Develop and deliver solutions according to lightweight but sensible software development methodologies, with close collaboration MG Core's product engineering arm, to ensure what is built is secure and maintainable. Create and maintain clear documentation, including technical notes, integration docs, and operational and how-to guides written for a non-technical audience. Monitor and troubleshoot the tools you ship, providing timely fixes and keeping stakeholders informed. Keep up to date with the fast-moving AI tooling landscape and bring the best of it back to the team. Gain broad exposure across Match Group’s central services and corporate functions. You'll need: 0-2 years of professional experience as a software engineer, or a recent degree, diploma, or bootcamp qualification in a relevant field. Hands-on experience using agentic development harnesses and similar AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc), with experience or familiarity with agentic instructions ( AGENTS.md , skills) and MCP servers. A strong understanding of foundational software principles and programming fundamentals, as well as development lifecycles, spanning source control (GitHub), CI/CD (automated testing and quality analysis), and monitoring (logs, metrics, error detection and troubleshooting). Familiarity with software delivery methodologies, such as agile scrum or kanban. Experience in building modern web frontends (using React or similar), as well as accompanying backend REST APIs. Familiarity with relational/SQL, as well as NoSQL or KV databases. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Cloudflare), including conceptual understanding of serverless concepts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills - a significant part of this role is explaining technical work to non-technical people, so patience, empathy, and clarity matter as much as coding ability. Solid understanding of IT security concepts, as well as sound judgement around data sensitivity and confidentiality - much of what you build will touch employee and business data. Excellent problem-solving skills and a bias toward delivering value quickly rather than getting it perfect - as is the nature of internal tooling. Strong enthusiasm for software development and eagerness to learn and grow. Legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of the internship. Nice to have: Any exposure to HRIS platforms, especially Workday - even light experience as a user or administrator of a HRIS or similar is valuable here. Experience in the Human Resources domain, or with people data, recruiting, payroll, or benefits systems. Experience working within specific cloud environments, namely Cloudflare (primary) and AWS (secondary). Experience working with serverless hosting technologies, such as Cloudflare Workers. Experience working within containerised environments, such as Docker and/or DevContainers. Exposure or experience working within project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com. Experience contributing to open source projects. Experience working at a B2B or SaaS company.

Billing & AR Resolution Lead
About Tia Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike. About the Role Tia is looking for a Billing & AR Resolution Lead to take ownership of our claims follow-up, denials, and payer rejection functions. This is a hands-on role. You'll work claims, resolve denials, and push aging AR to resolution every day. It's also a role for someone who wants to build something: the workflows, documentation, and queue structure that make this work repeatable and easier to hand off as we scale and the team grows. You'll partner closely with the Senior Manager of RCM as a true right hand on a lean team. Take full ownership of AR follow-up, flag payer trends before they turn into revenue problems, and bring good ideas for how the function should grow. If you see a messy queue and want to fix the system behind it, not just clear the backlog, this role is for you. Why Tia - Opportunity to help shape and scale a new model of women’s healthcare - Mission-driven environment focused on improving care for women across life stages - Collaborative, thoughtful team committed to patient and provider experience - Modern care model that integrates clinical care, operations, technology, and innovation - Meaningful opportunity to help build scalable systems, workflows, and practices - Remote role in a fast-moving, high-growth healthcare environment. - This is a rare chance to shape a function, not just staff it. You'll have real ownership over how AR and denials work at Tia, direct visibility with RCM leadership, and room to grow as the team does. If you're someone who can't help but build a better process, and you like being the person others trust to know what's really going on in the numbers, we'd love to hear from you. What You’ll Do AR Follow-Up, Denials & Payer Rejections - Own day-to-day AR follow-up across commercial payers, resolving denials and payer rejections from root-cause identification through resubmission. - Work claims across multiple queues and payer rule sets, prioritizing by dollar impact, aging, and likelihood of recovery. - Partner with Tia's external billing partner on complex appeals and escalated claim issues, giving them the documentation and context they need to resolve them. - Own day-to-day AR follow-up across commercial payers, resolving denials and payer rejections from root-cause identification through resubmission. - Work claims across multiple queues and payer rule sets, prioritizing by dollar impact, aging, and likelihood of recovery. - Partner with Tia's external billing partner on complex appeals and escalated claim issues, giving them the documentation and context they need to resolve them. - Track denial reasons and outcomes closely enough to know which patterns are just noise and which ones are the start of something bigger, monitoring trends across payers and markets to surface systemic issues (eligibility, contract terms, coding, payer behavior changes) before they compound. - Bring data and recommendations to RCM leadership on where the biggest AR risks and opportunities are, not just a status update on what's outstanding. Workflow & Process Design - Build and document the SOPs, queue structures, and escalation paths that turn AR follow-up from institutional knowledge into a repeatable process. - Spot friction points in the claims-to-cash workflow and design the fix, not just flag the problem. - Create the reference materials and training documentation that help new team members ramp up quickly as the function grows. Cross-Functional Support - Serve as the subject matter expert on RCM-related questions and concerns for Tia's Billing Care Coordinators, who field most patient billing inquiries directly. - Take ownership of escalations that need a claim edit, payer-specific fix, or other RCM-level intervention and ensure timely follow-up through to resolution. What You’ll Bring Requirements: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in medical billing, AR follow-up, denials management, and payer rejections in a healthcare setting. - Deep working knowledge of commercial payer rules and claim adjudication. - A track record of not just clearing a queue, but improving how it works: building SOPs, spotting inefficiencies, and fixing root causes. - Comfortable working independently in a lean, fast-moving team where you'll wear multiple hats and help shape your own scope. - Sharp pattern recognition. You notice when something's off in the data before it becomes a bigger issue. - Strong written communication for internal documentation, payer correspondence, and cross-functional collaboration. - Experience with billing platforms such as Candid, Athenahealth, Epic, or similar RCM/EHR systems. - Multi-state/multi-market billing. Nice to have: - Experience building or improving RCM workflows, documentation, or training materials from scratch.Exposure to women's health and telehealth. A demonstrated interest in growing into broader ownership as Tia's RCM function scales.Certification such as CPB, CPC, or CRCR. Work Location This is a remote role (US-wide) Compensation & Benefits Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions. The expected compensation for this role is: $27 to $28 per hour You are also eligible for: - Medical, dental, and vision benefits - 401k program - $300 one-time WFH stipend - $50/month phone and internet reimbursement - Free Tia membership About Tia Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access, improving outcomes, and delivering a better care experience. Our “Whole Woman, Whole Life” model integrates primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person care and a national virtual platform. We are a Series D, venture-backed company trusted by more than 120,000 women across four markets. Through our technology-enabled care model and partnerships with leading health systems, Tia is building one of the most comprehensive preventive care models for women. About Tia’s Culture Tia is building a culture of excellence in people, process, and product. For us, excellence is not perfection. It is the ongoing pursuit of improvement through learning, reflection, experimentation, curiosity, grit, and care for ourselves and others. We are looking for people who are energized by building, iterating, asking why, and helping create a fundamentally better healthcare experience for women. This position may require attendance at company and team off-sites. Scam Notice Tia will never ask for payment, gift cards, or sensitive financial information during the hiring process. All communication from our team will come from an official company email address ending in @asktia.com. If something feels off, please contact peopleservices@asktia.com . Equal Opportunity Tia is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diversity of experience, perspectives, and background leads to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients. We strongly encourage people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community to apply. If you are committed to collaborative problem solving, high-quality work, and making waves in women’s healthcare, we’d love to hear from you.
