FOLX Clinician MD/DO (per diem/hourly) - Alabama, Hawaii, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee
We are currently looking for MDs/DOs licensed in the following states: Alabama, Hawaii, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee. As part of the FOLX Clinical team, you will be providing evidence based clinical care to our members (patients). What You’ll Do: As a FOLX Clinician, you will be providing clinical care to our members (patients) through a telehealth platform. The clinical services FOLX offers focus directly on the needs of the LGBTQAI+ community and include the following: trans/nonbinary gender affirming hormone therapy, sexual and reproductive health, primary care, mental health care. Our clinical care is provided both synchronously (all clinical visits are done through audio/visual format) as well as asynchronously (lab reviewing and resulting, answering members’ asynchronous clinical questions, etc.). Clinical care of our patients will always be your first priority, but there is regular time set aside for our clinical team to discuss case studies and attend clinical training sessions. What You’ll Bring: - MD/DO degree - Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program - Multiple active state MD or DO license (IMLCC license preferred). We will help support additional state license applications depending on your hours of availability - Active DEA license - Active Controlled Substance Registration/Licensure if required in your state(s) of practice - Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community - Organizational and time management skills that allow for timely completion of charts and member care in a remote work environment - Self-motivation, independence, and willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment - Ability to learn new apps, programs, and proficiency with virtual meeting platforms As a part-time W-2 employee, you will receive biweekly pay and be eligible for the following benefits: simplified tax withholding, access to a 401(k) plan, malpractice insurance coverage, learning budget, and wellness & community reimbursement. Part-Time People Manager (Clinical Team)

About the Role: As People Manager for our Clinical Team, you will lead and mentor a team of clinicians and RNs to ensure high-quality clinical care, monitor performance, and maintain regulatory compliance. This role requires balancing clinical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to achieve organizational goals and elevate team morale. What You'll Do: - Serve as primary escalation point for clinician and RN team issues; provide performance feedback and implement corrective actions as needed - Ensure adherence to internal policies, clinical practice quality and safety standards, and regulatory guidelines - Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff - Support career development and retention through regular 1:1 check-ins and personalized coaching - Manage PTO and clinician scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Operations team - Develop and update policies related to clinical team personnel What You'll Bring: - 5+ years of people management experience in healthcare, ideally in the telehealth space - Experience as a practicing clinician (MD, DO, NP, PA, CNM).
